Every morning I set my alarm for 30 minutes earlier than I need to get ready. I make myself a tea mixture that helps me digest not just the foods from the past 72 hours, but helps me start my day how I want to.
The minute you look at your phone, your day is being determined by other people’s demands. The first 30 minutes, without screens, I establish three things:
- What am I grateful for?
- Who can I send love to in the form or prayer or thoughts?
- What two things can I do today to be proud of myself?
